@ZLovatt so blur size = radius, blur filter = what happens inside that radius

@ZLovatt also the algorithm should only matter for how the pixels inside the blur size get mashed up.

@ZLovatt does it though? I’m not talking 100% blur, but 100 pixel. That should be a pretty universal definition, no?

@Benthat3DKidd just tested it out. 100 Pixel blur in Nuke is a 200x200 matrix and blurs 100 pixels in both directions

@Benthat3DKidd no. The filter only defines how those pixels inside the radius/blue size get mashed together.

Is a 100 pixel blur a theoretical 100x100 matrix or a 200x200 matrix? I.e. 100px on either side or 100px around centre pixel? #notsure
