@seyDoggy played with wp-blog a bit and am amazed at how well it works. this looks like a definite option.
I think the main reason Wordpress put me off in the past has vanished with 2.7 Automatic upgrades of WP inside the admin interface itself.

@numalab it is a 3rd party service. It collects all tweets from its members or the tag #visualfx. Then shows them on the groups page.
