@tobyx it boils down to TimeMachine not backing up correctly after the SL upgrade.

@tobyx oh. sorry. here is a list of links from that LinkedIn discussion. krunchd.com/8d99d

@tobyx careful. it might be the Snow Leopard TimeMachine bug → thurly.net//4z2

god. I love my new Shure’s! great investment, even though they were bloody expensive. The q-JAYS were fantastic, but these are wicked!

@frankjonen either that or not installing it in the first place.

@tobyx but it probably doesn’t make much sense for anything than the top plan. capping and all.

@tobyx wow. that is indeed pretty great.

@tobyx hmm. figures. but is the iPhone fast enough so tethering makes sense? guess better then nothing on the road.

@tobyx how much more is tethering? is it a rip-off as usual with iPhone plans?

@christopher_p hehe. I don’t have that problem at RedVision. working is pretty much undisturbed for hours at a time on a good day.

@christopher_p I don’t like headphones for traveling or walking. I like a small visual footprint.

@christopher_p I had the q-JAYS before which were really great as well. very balanced. great details in the highs and lows.

In my defense. The new earplugs are amazing. :)

Manchester is doing me no good. Replaced my broken earplugs with new ones twice the price. Need the restraining influence of the girlfriend.

@ashdigital actually, it was an expensive set of plugs from JAYS to begin with. Now I am facing a €170 replacement cost. grrr.

@ashdigital no. bloody stupid accident. connected to the iPod. pushed iPod from table & the drop was caught by the right earplug. plug dead.
