@mordecaidesign wow. that must have been a HUGE rock. that is almost a century late to the party. :)

@frankjonen talking about?

@NickLambert stepping forward. might not do anything this weekend actually. except letting the farm render. me likey. :)

@rajivrai well, I didn’t get it “cheap” as in subsidized. I bought the 32GB iPhone 4 it at the UK Apple Store (cont) tl.gd/33kibr

@TejBabra well, any experience with 3D software? then it is “just” a matter of learning a different workflow.

@TejBabra also the 2nd question to ask would be: is there any 3D/VFX background involved? if not it will be much harder, but not impossible.

@TejBabra well, define “teach yourself”. completely by yourself? unlikely. with the help of tutorials (fxphd, Gnomon, etc.)? sure.

a huge shout out to @threadless for their killer customer service. thanks for your great support (especially Dustin)

glad I bought my iPhone 4 in UK & had @NickLambert ship it to me. Saved me €470 compared to what you pay in Germany for an unlocked one.

@davidstripinis and that is coming from a chronic rheumatism patient. (= constant monitoring and health care)

@davidstripinis UK healthcare isn’t that great (in my experience). the Danish system rocks though. & I’m quite happy in Germany as well.

@dekekincaid congrats Deke! Great to hear that.

@hmcknight as much as possible, yes

@hmcknight well, the tragic thing is you can most of the time. but hard money should be better spent on making the movie better elsewhere

@alba it’s more of an internal politics thing they fight on the back of the company I’m doing the work for.

@alba well, no not nearby, but in close contact. they signed off several temp deliveries already. each with a different look I might add.

@ftwo haha. brilliant.

@ftwo was für ne Dokumentgröße? 10k?

@hmcknight please also teach that during pre- & post-production if you can. it’s really fatal to think “I can change/undo anything nowadays”

@ftwo using CS5 are we not? ;)

“you just can’t seem to nail it.” bloody creatives not able to fess up to their indecisiveness.

actually, it’s the fact that they change the look, we adjust it, they love our work, then change the look & blame us for it.

supe just called me & told me that the production changed the look by 180° yet again. (counting 5 changes by now) starting to get annoyed.

@rendernyc and even then it is a risky proposition. :)

@davidstripinis well, IMDB seems to tell me that they are completely unrelated.
