@bbratt that’s why I sometimes prefer textbooks. I know I won’t set myself up for feeling ripped out of a great universe when the story ends

That’s what I hate about good books. The sudden emptiness that creeps over me when it’s over and I am ripped out of the stories universe.
Just finished listening to the Harry Potter audiobook series while lying in bed with the flu.
well, I didn’t make it long. :( talked about 1h or so and then spent 20min vomiting in the bathroom. since then I am home in bed. yay!
bloody brilliant. first day of teaching and where am I? at home sick with a stomach flu or something. just bloody fucking awesome.
