@alexlehnert soon you can book me to teach you. :)

@alexlehnert it is a good in-depth look into Nuke, but of course less project based and more training focused. If you… cl.ly/9UJs

What’s for lunch? Seeing as I just passed the exam for Level 01 of Nuke for Trainers, I think I am going to celebrate 4sq.com/rrqqsl

Can’t sleep. Wide awake.

@notesy …you though, as you usually don’t declare a text file “done”

@notesy btw. have a look at @dayoneapp’s iOS Markdown “live” preview. Very well executed. Not sure though if that would make sense for…

@notesy have yet to play with the CSS, but I am pretty well versed with CSS, so it shouldn’t pose a problem.

@notesy yup, I know about the preview & the custom CSS. that were among the deciding factors, as well as the great Twitter reaction time :)

@digitobe require?! Oh crap, that is stupid. Way too early for that. There isn’t even a Mac Pro with Thunderbolt yet.

@digitobe haven’t noticed any kind of burn-in on the glossy displays in our household (2007 iMac & 2009 MBP)

@digitobe of course a Cinema display only just fits in the <€1000 category

@digitobe I’d probably would investigate the 27" Cinema display. The price/quality ratio is pretty good I think. cl.ly/9Ric

@digitobe @meken @NickLambert sorry, can’t really help much as I am not up to date with current monitors.

I’m at Starbucks (Neuer Jungfernstieg 5, Hamburg) w/ 2 others 4sq.com/q1f7u3

Total ripoff. I was told that there is a Lunch option, only to be told afterwards that what I ate is not included. 4sq.com/oNF0sL

Gibt es ne gute Mittagessens-Möglichkeit am Jungfernstieg?

@digitalreb …negates that is very unlikely, isn’t it?

@digitalreb I know, but one can dream, right? After all most menu apps want to be visible at a glance, so supporting an API that…

@digitalreb …but that is probably too hacky to be stable

@digitalreb that & I’d also love to see a way to drag & drop menu apps “into” it that don’t support the API (because most prolly won’t)…

Someone should write an OS X menu bar app that allows storing other menu bar apps to reduce clutter and increase usability on small screens.

@notesy @dayoneapp @frankjonen btw. bought :)

@notesy not to hijack this discussion, but custom buttons for Markdown would be interesting, as would be a live preview feature.

@NickLambert oh no! That’s very annoying. :(

@frankjonen also t.co/02SFmMg has a nice roundup of plain text editors. looks like it will be Notesy for me. might give dayone a try
